J. Tayloe Emery works as a creative producer, writer and director primarily in the Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, New York and Nashville markets where he is known for precise execution on high-profile awareness media projects, concerts and events.
Tayloe is the former Creative Director at DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa) the organization founded by U2's Bono and Sir Bob Geldof that advocates for African justice and poverty issues. He worked as one of the producers of the LIVE 8 concert in Philadelphia in 2005 and is the founder and Executive Director of Nashville 4 Africa.
A new media and cause marketing pioneer and a former journalist for Rolling Stone and MTV, Tayloe excels in artist engagement and in bringing together non-profits with A-list global artist/activists in a cohesive collaboration. At DATA he developed and nurtured the activist work of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, George Clooney, Connie Britton, Penelope Cruz and many others.
